Creditreform Rating has withdrawn Credit du Nord S.A.'s ratings, including its long-term issuer, following its merger with its parent, Societe Generale. The entity Credit du Nord no longer exists. The legal merger of Credit du Nord with its parent was close on 1 January 2023.

The parent institution of Crédit du Nord SA, Société Générale SA, maintains a significant foreign presence in the Russian Federation. In the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the "positive" outlook is withdrawn and a status "watch (negative)" is assigned in view of this exposure. The LT Issuer Rating is confirmed. All Issue Ratings (AT1, T2, NPS, PSU) also receive the status "watch (negative)".
