Creditreform Rating has also affirmed the unsolicited corporate issue rating of the long-term local currency senior unsecured notes issued by Verbund AG at A. These issues are included in the list of ECB-eligible marketable assets, which can be found on the ECB's website. The outlook for the ratings is positive. The rating is based on the overall positive development in the balance sheet and financial structures as well as the continuous earnings growth in recent years. Consistent cost management and very good and forward-looking risk management can be derived from this. The economic distortions from the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic are currently having a dampening effect on the rating, resulting in uncertainties regarding the future economic development.
